What is a Virtual Airline?
A virtual airline simulates a real-world airline, flying its own aircraft & routes in the virtual world of Flight Simulator. Pilots join the airline and choose flights which they then fly in Flight Simulator.
After the flight, pilots report their flight in a Pilot Report (PiRep) on the website, and the hours of the flight are added to their logbook.
As flight hours accumulate, pilots consequently progress through the ranks at the airline.
Instead of flying aimlessly in your FS world, virtual airlines aim to bring together a community of FS pilots, and provide them with a fun and educational environment in which to fly.
